Chess Grandmaster
Born in 1979. He learned chess as a child by watching his grandfather and father play. In the youth category, he won national championship titles and stood out among the top results.
Before turning 20, still a junior, he shared 1st place in the championship of the then-country. At the age of 20, he became a Grandmaster.
Since 1997, he has represented the national team, playing on the first board in about ten Chess Olympiads.
In multiple competitions, he has won several national championships and team championships with various clubs, both domestically and in neighboring countries. He achieved top positions at the European Club Cup.
Winner of numerous international tournaments in the region and worldwide. Participant in the World Cup. Contributor to several professional chess books and magazines.
Author of multiple chess books. He also assisted as a second and coach to top players who were ranked among the top 10 in the world at that time.
